Belfair Players Amateur Golf Tournament Begins near Hilton Head

One of the major amateur golf tournaments is being contested this week at Belfair Golf Club in Bluffton, near Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Univeristy of Alabama standout Bud Cauley will be defending his championship against a strong field that includes Morgan Hoffman, Patrick Reed and David Chung.

Anyone traveling to South Carolina or Northern Georgia who likes golf should take the time to stop by Belfair and see some of the future stars as they compete in the South Carolina heat.

There is no charge to watch--just stop by the Belfair security gate for a pass and instructions.
